Women’s Figure Skating Final 2026: Standings, Date, and How to Watch
The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina will conclude the figure skating schedule with the Women’s Figure Skating final on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Medals will be awarded after the free skate, completing the two-part competition.
Current Standings After Short Program
Team USA’s Alysa Liu is in contention for her first individual Olympic medal, currently sitting third with a score of 76.59. Liu, who helped the Americans win gold in the team event, delivered the most difficult combination of the short program: a triple Lutz-triple loop. The California native finished sixth at the 2022 Beijing Olympics and is now aiming to improve her individual results.
Leading the field are two Japanese skaters, Ami Nakai (78.71) and Kaori Sakamoto (77.23), with Sakamoto being the reigning Olympic bronze medalist. Japan is eyeing a historic podium sweep in the event. The first skater outside the podium, also from Japan, is Mone Chiba, in fourth place with 74.00 points.
Other members of Team USA, Isabeau Levito and Amber Glenn, are looking to climb the rankings after mistakes left them in eighth and 13th, respectively. Both are making their Olympic debuts. Glenn also contributed to Team USA’s gold in the team event, finishing third in the women’s free skate portion.
